XinShen YouYuan Festival is a visual project for traditional Chinese‑festival events hosted by Xintiandi group, Shanghai.
Drawing from traditional artifacts including Dunhuang paper‑folding art and multi‑treasure cabinets, the design extracts essences from folk customs, mythical creatures and regional culture to build a visual language centered on the Four Divine Beasts. Both graphics and the custom typeface follow paper‑folding structural logic to deconstruct and reassemble into a complete set of KV graphics. Balancing cultural narrative with contemporary readability, the visuals preserve diverse regional characteristics while maintaining overall coherence across all series.
新焺游园为上海新天地传统中国节活动视觉项目。设计取材敦煌折纸、多宝格等传统器物，萃取民俗、神兽与地域文化内核，构建以四神兽为核心的系列视觉语言。图形与定制字体遵循折纸结构逻辑，实现符号的解构重组。视觉上兼顾文化叙事与当代可读性，既彰显多地地域文化特质，又保障各系列之间的连贯性。

Rooted in the scientific romance of "string theory", the visual system translates abstract notions of resonance and interdependence into tangible graphic symbols.
Covering logo, custom‑built typeface, colour palette and KV, it builds an extendable modular visual asset that merges Eastern dialectical thinking with international visual language. Striking a balance between technological rationality and humanistic warmth, it delivers the core ethos: “Ideas resonate to spark future‑driven innovation.”
整套视觉系统以 “弦理论” 的科学浪漫为创意内核，把共振、互生的抽象概念转化为可感知的图形符号。
设计涵盖 LOGO、定制字体、色彩体系与主视觉 KV，构建出可延展的模块化视觉资产，融合东方辩证思维与国际化视觉语言。在科技理性与人文温度之间形成张力，传递 “思想共振催生未来创新” 的项目内核。
